Pregnancy involves more then we think

Did you know?
There are certain things which are really important to know when you are pregnant. One is the level of protein, which indicates if the kidneys are under stress. Blood sugar and blood pressure are important to monitor.
When I was young we raised chickens. Everyone knew that when you use an electrical incubator to keep the eggs warm, you had to keep the temperature just right. Even a little drop in the temperature put the chick’s life at risk.
A pregnant woman is basically an incubator.
But doctors don’t seem to monitor your temperature. This is very important. The intelligence and development of the baby is dependant on whether or not they are being incubated at a high enough temperature.
They want the heat too
If the temperature is too low at conception, the chromosomes may not pair properly causing Down’s syndrome. Or the baby might have cretinism, or sometimes the temp is low enough that the fertilized egg can not thrive at all, doctors call this a blighted ovum.
The thyroid is known as the body’s thermometer setter. Women, whose thyroid is functioning efficiently, typically have a temperature of 99.5 during pregnancy. Why doctors don’t address this, aggravates me.
