Did you know that herbs work on animals too? We have had dogs and cats whom we have treated with herbs.
They have responded well to herbs, which by the way nullifies the idea of a placebo effect, because although we feel our animals are smart, I am sure they haven’t read a herb book recently.
As a good base, we usually put liquid chlorophyll in our animal’s water. To start out, I would go slowly a few drops and increase as your animal gets use to the taste and smell.
And after a while, they actually prefer that water.
The liquid chlorophyll helps with so many things, a great multi mineral, but it also helps prevent or reverse arthritis, Liquid chlorophyll is a natural deodorizer so it helps eliminate doggy odor and seems to make them overall healthier.
My Personal experiences
When my dog has gotten ear infections, we had put silver shield in his ears, we put it in his eyes to help prevent the discharge they sometimes get, when our cat had tumors, we used herbal trace minerals and the tumor left. When our cat Sebastian had feline leukemia, we lengthened his life past the 6 weeks to 6 months the vet had given him to 14+ years.
Our dog developed a skin condition which looked like he had mosquito bites all over his skin, we gave him paw paw internally and it went away. Problem turned out to be mites under his skin… as a side note it seemed to make it unnecessary to use flea dip as well.
The same dog would get hot spots where he would lick himself sore. We worked on his liver and goodbye spots.
Not every one is for “Boots”
One herb for sure is tea tree oil because it can not be broken down by animals, so there are some herbs you must use caution with, but most herbs are very animal safe.
If any of you have animals and have had any past herbal experiences or current problems let us know and we can help.
