There are bad herbs too!

There are a few herbs which are really not medicine friendly… St. John’s Wort, 5 htp, SAMe, Kava Kava are the worse offenders.  I would avoid all of these if you are on any medication… Another herb many people don’t realize can worsen anxiety and is not good with SSRI’s etc is Coffee, with black pekoe tea which is almost as bad.

Typically fatty acids help and are very compatible with most meds.

And I think a good pharmacist would be your best resource to ask about interactions.
