The two main contributors to Tinnitus (ringing in or noise in the ear) is eithercirculation to the head, which I would suggest Ginkgo and Hawthorne combination, or a manganese deficiency which I would take Red Raspberry. I would take very aggressive amounts unless I was pregnant (Red Raspberry needs to be taken prudently, if at all during pregnancy.)

So much so that the first Lady, Michelle Obama, is now taking on childhood obesity as her cause from the white house! Maybe we can help her out! This post touches on the diet problems of our obesity epidemic but doesn’t get into the physical aspects, will write a post about that later so be sure to check back!

  • 150 people can be infected by ONE sneeze, PREPARE!

Posted on February 3rd, 2010 Dr. Mary No comments

Research reveals that a single sneeze in a busy commuter area propels millions of germs onto hand rails, seats and other common surfaces found in a commuter environment. Within minutes, that one sneeze can deposit enough germs to infect 150 people. But that’s only if those 150 people have weak immune systems, of course. That’s a fact the conventional medical community fails to point out. Germs don’t cause infectious disease nearly as much as suppressed immune systems do.
When a human being has adequate levels of vitamin D in their blood (and almost no Westerners do), they’re virtually immune to [...] Continue Reading…

  • What to do about urine leakage and the answer is not – Depends

There are several causes of this: Prolapse (sagging) of the bladder, pH imbalance, bladder cysts, yeast in the bladder and more. The most common cause is a lack of tone of the bladder. That is the problem I would start with. There is a homeopathic called “Incontinence” which helps tone the bladder. Uva Ursi is also commonly used. If it is not a toning problem, I would move on to balancing my pH and cleaning my system of yeast.

What are we eating? Are we turning toward vegetarian diets or are we all eating rotting flesh? Are we getting fat on ice-cream, cake, cookies or cheesecake? Are we eating more fruits and vegetables or more French-fries?
Since the early 1900’s, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has been monitoring our food choices and uses that data to see what direction we are headed in. Check it out!
In 1977, soda became the most popular American beverage, and number 2 is still way behind Unbelievably, we drink 50 gallons of soda per person per year and that doesn’t include the 8 gallons [...] Continue Reading…

Posted on January 20th, 2010 Dr. Mary No comments

Charles Duhigg of The New York Times today delivered the latest unsettling news about the nation’s water supply: It’s not as clean as you might think. An analysis of federal data from the last five years revealed that more than 20 percent of the nation’s water-treatment systems have broken provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the standards enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency. The result? As many as 19 million Americans are sickened each year.
Over the years, the EPA has identified many substances in water supplies far and wide. Here are nine unexpected things that they’ve spotted.

Public Laundry facilities: These places can be teeming with germs, but even home machines can have their share. A pair of underwear has about 0.1 gram of fecal material, amounting to about 100 million E. coli bacteria in an average load. Microbiologist Charles Gerba recommends washing undergarments in very hot water and drying them for a full 45 minutes to kill more bacteria.
Escalators, Elevators, & Railings: Riders can leave nasty stuff behind on rubber handrails as they grip onto them for safety. A 2003 study by the New York Daily News found significant amounts of bacteria living on rubber [...] Continue Reading…

  • Colloidal Silver and other Silver Compounds

Posted on January 8th, 2010 Dr. Mary 5 comments

Colloidal silver is the product the FDA and many mainstream medical people love to hate. Listening to them you would think every person taking colloidal silver is going to turn gray with silver accumulation in their skin (argyria). Their worst nightmare is people taking colloidal silver to combat the H1N1 swine flu – the nightmare for them is that it might actually work. Since I am a health professional who has utilized colloidal silver in practice for more than 15 years with thousands of people, I’m more than happy to share some insights on the subject.

It is really not [...] Continue Reading…
